My iPhone eSIM is stuck on 'Activating'
During eSIM installation, sometimes iPhone or iPad users see their eSIM stuck on 'Activating.' This means it's attempting to connect them to a network.
If you're still at home, and not yet in the correct location to use this eSIM, don't worry about being stuck on 'Activating.' Your iPhone or iPad will soon "give up" trying to reach one of these networks, and quietly wait until you're within range to automatically connect.
If you're already in the correct location, sometimes an iPhone eSIM will get stuck on 'Activating' -- even though the eSIM should be connecting to a local network.
If you've correctly installed your eSIM and you're already located in the correct country for your eSIM to be able to connect to a network, here's how to fix this ...
1. Swipe down from the top right corner of your screen
2. Tap the Airplane Mode icon to turn on Airplane Mode and wait 30 seconds
3. Tap the Airplane Mode icon again to turn off Airplane Mode and wait 30 seconds
4. Go your "Settings" and then "Cellular" or "Mobile Data"
5. Confirm your eSIM has activated correctly
