How do I know what model phone I have?
Whether your phone or tablet is brand-new or you've had it for years, you might not always know which model it is. No problem!
When we're troubleshooting eSIM problems, we always like to ask our customers which model phone (or tablet) they're using so we can (A) ensure they're using a phone that supports eSIM, and (B) pinpoint what the issue might be.
Here's how to find out which model phone you have ...
iPhone or iPad:
- Go to "Settings"
- Tap "General"
- Tap "About"
- Next to "Model Name," you should see what model you're using (i.e. iPhone 13)
Samsung:
- Go to "Settings"
- Scroll down to "About phone"
- Next to "Product name," you should see what model you're using (i.e. Samsung S22 Ultra)
Google Pixel:
- Go to "Settings"
- Tap "Systems" (skip this step if running Android 10)
- Tap "About phone"
- Tap "Regulatory labels" (only required on certain devices)
- You should see what model you're using (i.e. Google Pixel 6)
Motorola:
- Go to "Settings"
- Tap "About phone" (may have to tap "Systems" first)
- You should see which Motorola model you're using
Huawei:
- Go to "Settings"
- Tap "About phone"
