Why is my network called aloSIM?
Depending on the version of iOS running on your iPhone or iPad, your eSIM's network name may display as "aloSIM."
While aloSIM is not a network, our eSIM data packages run over well-known, high-quality networks personally selected for all 130+ countries we support.
On select iOS devices, "aloSIM" may appear as your network name. But if you are experiencing connectivity issues, our Support team will show you how to identify which specific networks are supported, and how to manually connect to a specific supported network.
If you would prefer the real network name to be displayed, make sure you have your software updates on.
On your iPhone or iPad, go to "Settings" > "General" > "Software Update" > and make sure "Automatic Updates" are ON. This will let your device receive an over-the-air iOS update to show the correct network name.
