My data is working, but Data Roaming is still toggled off?
If you're using an iPhone or iPad and you're running iOS 16.4 or newer, you may notice that your eSIM data works perfectly even when Data Roaming is still toggled "OFF" for your eSIM.
That is because of a change Apple made during iOS 16.4, where it no longer requires aloSIM customers to manually toggle Data Roaming "ON"for their eSIM in order to connect to supported networks.
This change has been very helpful for aloSIM customers because it's one less step to take in order to get their data working.
In fact, aloSIM customers using an iPhone or iPad (running iOS 16.4 or later), the Automatic eSIM installation and activation flow will do everything for you.
As soon as it finishes up, your data should immediately begin flowing (providing you're already in the correct country or region, so you can connect to the correct networks).
