Why is my Samsung Galaxy showing I have less data than I should?
aloSIM customers with Samsung Galaxy devices might be shocked to check their data usage and see a smaller amount of data than what they purchased.
It's not an error, we promise. It's that Samsung Galaxy devices allow the option to set data usage warnings.
These warnings will notify you when you hit certain thresholds, and are NOT reflective of how much data is available on your aloSIM data package.
Using the aloSIM app, it's easy to see how much data you've used (and how much data remains on your eSIM data plan). Just open the aloSIM app, and choose "My eSIMs."
You can also monitor data usage within the settings of your Samsung Galaxy.
Checking how much eSIM data you've used on a Samsung Galaxy:
1. Go to "Settings"
2. Select "Connections"
3. Choose "Data Usage" to see your data usage
Setting or changing the data usage warning on a Samsung Galaxy:

3. Choose "Data Usage" and then "Billing cycle and data warning"
4. Toggle "Set data warning" to OFF if you don't wish to get data usage notifications
5. Choose "Data limit" if you wish to set a custom amount of data to use before it will be disabled
