Why is my Google Pixel showing I have less data than I should?
If you've purchased an eSIM data plan for a Google Pixel phone, you might have been surprised to check your data usage and see what appears to be a smaller amount of data than what you've purchased.
That's because Google Pixel phones give you the option to set data usage warnings.
This setting is showing an customizable data usage warning, NOT the full amount of data available on your aloSIM data package.
While you can easily see how much data you've used (and how much data remains on your eSIM data plan) by opening your aloSIM app and choosing "My eSIMs," Google Pixel users can also monitor this in their phone's settings.
Checking how much eSIM data you've used on a Google Pixel:
1. Go to "Settings"
2. Select "Network & internet," then "Internet"
3. Tap the "Settings" symbol next to your eSIM provider
4. It will show you how much data you've used so far
Setting or changing the data usage warning on a Google Pixel:

3. Tap the "Settings" symbol next to your eSIM provider
4. Select "Data warning & limit," and turn it on or off as you wish
5. To change your warning, choose "Data warning"
6. Pick a number of megabytes (MB) or gigabytes (GB), and your device will notify you when you reach that amount of data usage
7. Tap "Set" to confirm
