Why is my data connection slow?
If you first install and activate your new eSIM data plan and go to use it immediately, you might find the connection lagging.
That's because it sometimes takes up to 10 minutes to get your new network connection up to its full speed.
This only affects certain data plans in selected countries/regions, and when we've conducted speed tests on these data plans, we see a dramatic difference between the connection speed at one minute after activation and the connection speed at 10 minutes after activation.
So if your package is newly activated and it's a bit slow, please check again 10 minutes after activation and you should see a huge improvement. If not, please contact Support (support@alosim.com).
