Why isn't TikTok working?
We can't guarantee that every app and every website will be available when you're using eSIM data.
Depending on your location, aloSIM users trying to access TikTok may experience one of the following error messages:
- No internet connection. Tap to retry. Connect to the internet and try again
- No internet connection. Connect to the internet and try again.
Unfortunately, TikTok is not available on certain networks. While we considered not offering prepaid eSIM data in the regions where TikTok was not supported, we ultimately decided it was still important to offer an affordably-priced data solution.
If you are using one of these affected eSIMs, and you wish to use TikTok over Wi-Fi during the duration of your eSIM data package, we can suggest you try the following:
1. Turn off your aloSIM data temporarily (TikTok will not work if the affected eSIM is still detectable in the background)
2. Access a Wi-Fi connection
3. Restart the TikTok app
Once you've finished using TikTok over Wi-Fi, you can turn your aloSIM data connection back on and continue to have access to local mobile data.
