Is the Pixel 10 eSIM only?
In the United States, the Pixel 10, Pro, and Pro XL no longer support physical SIM cards and rely solely on eSIMs. In other words, there is no physical SIM card tray in these new devices. Instead, all network connectivity now happens via eSIMs.
However, unlike Apple, Google has not yet fully moved to an eSIM-only product. In global markets, including Canada, the Google Pixel 10 still has a SIM card tray. In Canada, the Google Pixel 10 has Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS), which allows the device to use a physical SIM card and an eSIM simultaneously.
Google’s approach is to present a more streamlined, secure, and flexible experience.
