How do I set the APN on my Samsung device?
Once you've installed your new eSIM data plan on your Samsung device, this is an important final step to double-check if your data isn't working immediately.
- Go to "Settings"
- Select "Connections"
- Select "Mobile Network"
- Go to "Access Point Names"
Your selected eSIM should say "alosim" in the Name and APN fields.
Does your selected APN show something different?
No problem! We can show you how to edit it.
- Tap the selected eSIM (the one with a bubble) to edit it
- Put "alosim" in the Name field
- Put "alosim" in the APN field
- Tap the three vertical dots
- Select "Save"
Now your selected APN should be "alosim."
If no APNs appear on your list, select the three vertical dots in the top-right corner to create a new Samsung APN:
- Select the three vertical dots in the top-right corner
- Create a new APN
- Put "alosim" in the Name field
- Put "alosim" in the APN field
- Tap "Save"
