How to give your eSIM a custom label/name
When you're in the aloSIM app, your eSIM cards are always neatly labeled with the correct country or region. It makes it easy to see which card is for which location.
(If you have more than one eSIM card for a specific location, we recommend you archive the cards you no longer need and only keep the installed eSIMs showing on your "My eSIMs" screen.)
But even though the eSIMs within the app are clearly labeled, that's not usually the case when you look at the eSIMs within your phone settings.
On an iPhone or iPad, your eSIM might be called "Travel" or "Secondary."
On a Samsung Galaxy, your eSIM is probably just called "aloSIM."
On a Google Pixel, your eSIM is likely just called "aloSIM."
That can get confusing, especially if you have multiple eSIMs installed on your device. You might not know which eSIM to use for a specific country, since none of them have the country in their name.
That's why it's a good idea to give your eSIM a custom label/name, right on your device, so you always know exactly which eSIM is which.
