How do I activate my eSIM on my iPhone or iPad?
If you've already installed your eSIM on your iPhone or iPad, you can adjust your device settings right before you're about to travel.
Once your phone settings have been updated, your data package will activate automatically as soon as you arrive at your destination.
How to start using your aloSIM data:
Complete these steps on the day you're travelling to your destination ...
1. On your iPhone or iPad, open ‘Settings’ then ‘Cellular’
2. Under ‘SIMs,’ toggle on your eSIM. Return to it and toggle on ‘Data Roaming.'
3. Go back to ‘Cellular’ and select ‘Cellular Data.' Your cellular data source should be your eSIM (with 'Allow Cellular Data Switching' toggled off)
4. Adjust your primary SIM settings.

OPTION A: Use your primary SIM for phone calls and texts

OPTION B: Disable your primary SIM, prevent all carrier fees
|

Arriving at your destination
- Toggle off Airplane Mode
- Wait 1-2 minutes for your eSIM to connect
- If you don't have internet, please check the following settings ...
- Your aloSIM eSIM should be toggled on
- 'Data Roaming' should be toggled on for your eSIM
- Your APN setting should say 'alosim' in the Name and APN field
