How do I activate my eSIM on my Android device?
Once you've followed our Android eSIM installation instructions, you're ready to activate your eSIM and start using that sweet, sweet data!
Remember, you must be located in your data package's country/region in order to connect to a network. (So don't try to activate a vacation data package if you're still at home, because you won't be able to reach those networks yet.)
FOR GOOGLE PIXEL DEVICES:
- Go to "Settings" then "Network & Internet"
- Tap "Mobile network,” select your new eSIM, and toggle "Use eSIM" on
- Make sure APN is set to "alosim" in the Name and APN fields
- Remember that roaming should be ON for aloSIM, but OFF for your Primary SIM (if you have one) to avoid roaming charges with your primary carrier
FOR SAMSUNG DEVICES:
- Go to "Settings" then "Connections"
- Choose "Mobile Network," turn on your eSIM, and enable Mobile Data & Data Roaming OR choose "SIM card manager," then "Preferred SIM card" and select your new eSIM
- Make sure APN is set to "alosim" in the Name and APN fields
- Remember that roaming should be ON for aloSIM, but OFF for your Primary SIM (if you have one) to avoid roaming charges with your primary carrier
FOR OTHER ANDROID DEVICES:
- OPPO
- Huawei
- Gemini
- Motorola
- Acer
- ASUS
